The
safe working load must be selected according to each application.
Although the effortto move the crane bridge is small it
can be further reduced by selecting the lightest size/weight
of system to suit the application i.e for 400kg maximum
load normally select a 500kg capacity system and not 1000kg.

Gantry
Track Length (GTL) is determined by the specific
area requiring lifting coverage.
Gantries have Support Centres upto a
maximum of 9m detremined by the system size selected and
your system requirements.
The option to choose your own support centres is offered
during the selection process. |

Crane
Bridge Span (CBS) is the distance between the
centres of the gantry tracks.
The Crane Bridge Length (CBL) is the
overall length. Crane In A Box offers crane bridge lengths
upto 10m depending upon system size.
The Crane In A Box® design provides
a stansard crane bridge overhang of 300mm on each end,
beyond the gantry track. |
In
order to reduce the operational resistance to an absolute
minimum we recommend that the trolley Load Pin
Height (LPH) be kept as low as possible with
practical considerations applied to minimum headroom requirements.
Height (LPH) is measured from the floor
to the trolley load pin from which a hoist / lifting device
is suspended. For this application type the LPH
will be mainly determined by the height of the structure
to which the system will be mounted.
The Adjustable Hanger Bracket
Kits allow for a small amount of adjustment but
this is limited.
Sway Bracing for each hanger position is supplied as standard
with all Ceiling Mounted Cranes. |
